Not to be missed, around 50km riding some of the most talked about tracks of the Blue Derby network. Experience the first 13km of the Bay of Fires trail, followed by a thrilling ride on the infamous Blue Tier trail and then onto the Atlas trailhead to ride back to Derby

 Bay of Fires Shuttle Experience

Kick off your day at 9am in Derby, where we’ll load up and wind our way through the epic rainforest roads climbing high into the mountains toward Blue Tier.

At the top, you’ll drop straight into the world-famous Bay of Fires trail, starting with the iconic Top 13 section — a fast, flowy downhill that sets the tone for what’s to come.

Midway through the ride, our driver will meet you trackside to check over bikes and keep you fuelled with a snack before you head back out.

From here, the real adventure begins.

Expect long, rewarding climbs, incredible views across the Tasmanian wilderness, and breathtaking descents that make every pedal stroke worth it. This is more than just a ride — it’s a full backcountry experience.

The trail will carry you all the way to the coast, finishing at the stunning Swimcart Beach. Take your time to soak it all in — enjoy the beach, go for a swim, and refuel with our provided lunch and drinks.

Once you’re ready, we’ll take care of the rest, shuttling you comfortably back to Derby, arriving just before 4pm.

Jump on our shuttle at Derby and get dropped off at the start of the Branxholm trail Valley Ponds, from here you will ride a great family friendly 8km green trail through some incredible forest and around some stunning lakes. The trail ends right back in Derby. 

8 am departure to st helen's mtb, enjoy all day shuttles and a return transfer back to derby leaving st Helen’s at approximately 3pm
